Manhattan Chaos: Vehicle Strikes Pedestrians During Police Chase, Female Suspect Still At Large

August 1, 2023, New York City – Midtown Manhattan became the scene of a frantic police chase today that ended in a vehicle plowing into a crowd, injuring 12 pedestrians. The injuries have been reported as minor, however, multiple victims required immediate medical attention at the scene.

The vehicle, driven by a male suspect, was allegedly fleeing from the police when it veered onto the sidewalk, striking several pedestrians. Law enforcement officers were able to apprehend the male driver shortly after the incident, but a female passenger managed to flee the scene on foot.

The female suspect is currently at large and is described as being of white or Hispanic ethnicity, weighing around 100 lbs, with black hair. She was last seen wearing a black shirt, blue jeans, and black and white sneakers.

Multiple law enforcement agencies, including the NYPD, are actively working together to locate the female suspect. Authorities are urging anyone with information related to this incident to come forward.
