Officer Involved Shooting at 1500 Kingwood; Suspect Uninjured and in Custody

HOUSTON, TX, August 17, 2023 – An officer-involved shooting occurred at 1500 Kingwood near Timber Shade. The Houston Police Department (HPD) has confirmed that the suspect was not struck and the officer involved in the incident is uninjured. The suspect has been taken into custody.

HPD Commanders and the Public Information Officer (PIO) are en route to the scene. Further details are expected to be provided on-site.
