Domestic Disturbance Results in Shooting of Father and Son in Houston; Both in Fair Condition

HOUSTON, TX, August 28, 2023 – Units from the Harris County Sheriff’s Office responded to a shooting incident at a residence in the 10700 block of Shady Canyon today. According to preliminary reports, a disturbance may have occurred between a husband and wife. During the altercation, a pistol was introduced by one of the parties involved.

The adult male was shot in the incident. Additionally, an adult son who attempted to intervene was also shot. Both males have been transported to a hospital for treatment. Authorities report that none of the injuries are considered life-threatening, and both are said to be in fair condition.

Investigators are currently en route to the scene for further investigation. Additional information will be provided as the investigation progresses.
