Houston Police Investigate Fatal Shooting of 19-Year-Old Male on Swingle Road

HOUSTON, Texas, Sept. 1, 2023 — The Houston Police Department is investigating the fatal shooting of a 19-year-old male, whose identity is pending notification to family, found at 3500 Swingle Road around 8:20 p.m. on Thursday, August 31. Officers from the HPD Homicide Division responded to a report of a shooting at the location and discovered the male suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. Houston Fire Department paramedics pronounced the victim deceased at the scene.

It remains undetermined whether the male was shot at the location or placed there postmortem. At this time, no known motive or suspects have been identified.
