Rick Kelm, a high school golf coach committed suicide after authorities found child porn on his computer

Police executed a warrant at the home of Richard “Rick” Kelm on October 21st after the popular online storage site, Dropbox alerted authorities to child porn. Shortly after, he was found dead in an apparent suicide. While he was on leave with the school while under investigation, he was not charged with a crime at the time of his death. However, it is likely he was guilty considering the nature of his death. The investigation into the child porn allegations and death are still pending.

Rick Kelm was a football coach from 1998 to 2010, but since 2011 he has served as the golf coach for Ripon High School in Ripon, Ohio where he also taught Social Studies.
