Double shooting at The Crab Station Cypress Creek Pkwy/FM 1960

One person was shot at The Crab Station located at 4505 Cypress Creek Pkwy at FM 1960 in north Harris County, between I-45 and 249, close to Willowbrook.

According to Sheriff Ed Gonzalez, a man walked into the restaurant and shot another man. The victim died at the scene. The suspect then left the location and was stopped by Harris County Sheriff’s Office Units near the scene when he shot himself. The suspect has been taken to a local hospital and is in critical condition.

Update #1 – Police say a couple who are going through a divorce decided to meet up the restaurant to discuss matters related to the divorce.

The new boyfriend of the ex-wife showed up as well. After a few minutes conversation that did not go well, the ex-husband left the restaurant and came back a few minutes later with a gun. The ex-husband shot several round, killed the new boyfriend in the process and tried to shoot at his ex-wife, but he missed.

The ex-husband than fled the scene. Responding deputies saw a vehicle fleeing that matched the description of the vehicle. They pulled the vehicle over, and the ex-husband got out of the car and shot himself in the head.
