More Than 100 Firefighters Respond to 3rd Alarm Structure Fire in Marina Del Rey

MARINA DEL REY, Calif., Sept. 14, 2023 – Los Angeles County Fire Department units were dispatched at approximately 2:48 p.m. to respond to a structure fire in the 4600 block of Via Marina.

Upon arrival, firefighters encountered heavy smoke emanating from a structure, prompting the escalation to a second alarm and subsequently to a third alarm.

Currently, over 100 firefighters are on the scene, working diligently to contain and extinguish the blaze. The rapid escalation to a third alarm underlines the severity of the incident, pulling in substantial resources to manage the emergency.
