Heavy Law Enforcement Presence Near Decker Prairie Elementary School Following ATM Burglary on Highway 249

MAGNOLIA, Texas, Sept. 21, 2023 – The Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office (MCTXSheriff) is investigating a burglary involving an A.T.M. that occurred on Highway 249. Although the suspects initially evaded law enforcement, they have since been apprehended.

Deputies remain at the scene near Decker Prairie Elementary School, part of the Tomball Independent School District. Harris County Precinct 4 was notified, and it has been determined that there is no immediate threat to the students or staff at the school; therefore, a lockdown was not implemented.
