Missing Person Amit Mehta Found Deceased in Sugar Land, Texas

FORT BEND COUNTY, Texas, Sept. 28, 2023 – On Sept. 25, 2023, at approximately 3 p.m., a deceased male was discovered in the 11100 block of Beverley Park Street in Sugar Land, Fort Bend County, Texas. The decedent has been identified as Amit Mehta through a postmortem examination using medical records.

This discovery follows an earlier plea for public assistance by the Fort Bend County Sheriff’s Office to locate Mr. Mehta, a 68-year-old man last seen on Sept. 22, 2023. He was previously reported missing from the 16900 block of N. Aliana Road, Richmond, Texas, and was last seen driving his 2010 Silver Toyota Corolla with Texas license plate CD3-W867.
