Constable Gable’s CIU Deputy Arrests Man for Felony Marijuana Possession

SHENANDOAH, TX (Dec. 19, 2023) – A deputy from Constable Ryan Gable’s Criminal Interdiction Unit (CIU) conducted a traffic stop on a black Chrysler sedan northbound in the 19000 block of Interstate 45 due to an equipment violation. Post stop, the deputy detained both the driver and passenger. A subsequent search of the vehicle led to the arrest of 19-year-old Manuel Batalla of Conroe for felony possession of marijuana. The vehicle was towed, and the passenger released. Batalla was transported to the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office jail and handed over to their custody without incident.
