Ted Cruz left the family pet alone, in a house too cold for humans

Ted Cruz decided to leave the family puppy, Snowflake, alone in the dark and cold while he jetted off to Cancun.

Ted Cruz has raised eyebrows in the past, the most recent being his trip to Cancun while his state freezes over. It does not bode well for him politically,

However, what is a crime? Animal abuse.

In a house that is too cold for humans to stay in, why would he leave the family pet behind? How can someone be this cruel?
