Rodney Reese was walking home from work at Walmart in Plano, Texas Tuesday when police decided to detain him for “Pedestrian in the Roadway”. Were the police justified in arresting him?
Sure, they may have been worried about him being in freezing temperatures without a jacket or sweater, but if that was the case, they would have taken him home right?
Perhaps if he stopped and cooperated, he may have been able to go home, but I am sure if you put your self in his shoes, without a jacket – you would have been trying to walk to your house as quickly as possible as well.
Yes, they offered him a ride, but he was almost home.
Yes at the start of this video, he did seem to have an attitude problem right off the bat, but what happened in the few minutes prior? The officer was already out of her car, and another arrives within seconds. Because the video did not start with the dashcam – it seems like the Plano police department is trying to hide something.
