Spark Delivery Walmart+ Delivery

Walmart puts the blame on drivers

Customer beware: If something is wrong with your Walmart+ order and you ask for a refund, your driver will automatically have their tip removed, even if it is the stores fault.

A few weeks ago I found out that Walmart finally has delivery in my area. #takemymoney

Anyhow, on one order I realized that all of my frozen items were missing. I decided to contact Walmart for a refund and I was pretty stoked it was easy to get my amount adjusted to reflect these items. Do I think a driver took my frozen items? Psh, no. I honestly think this was an honest mistake. I mean, I do not know how Walmart operates but considering my orders are picked a couple of hours beforehand, I am sure they have the frozen items on one side and the refrigerated items on another side in the warehouse area. I am 99.999999% sure the Walmart picker forgot to grab my frozen items from that side of the warehouse when the driver came to pick up the goods. On top of it all I couldn’t make a claim on my missing items until my delivery was closed out, which happened later that night. (The system knew I had my frozen items at the store still right?) It is Walmart and totally expected.

BUT WHY was my tip to the driver was removed? I have no clue.

I decided to make this post to see if any drivers out there have had tips that were promised taken away at a later date. If you had tips removed, please let me know in the comments below. I would say I should tip in cash, but honestly, I do not carry cash anymore unless I am going to see the accountants on a Friday night.
