Fire at 602 Girard St by homeless camp

A fire broke out at a construction site (602 Girard St.) just north of downtown Houston this morning. You may have noticed this if you took the Smith St. exit off I-10 East.

The exact cause is unknown but it was an active construction site. There is also a homeless encampment a few hundred yards away from were the fire started.
