Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office Investigating Shooting Incident on Rayford Road

CONROE, TX – On August 8, 2023, at approximately 10:20 pm, Deputies of the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office responded to an assault with a firearm call at the 2900 block of Rayford Road, Conroe, Texas. The 911 caller reported that an 18-year-old male had been shot and was awaiting help at a local gas station.

Upon arrival, first responders swiftly provided medical aid to the victim, who was subsequently transported to a local hospital. The victim remains in stable condition.
