In a tragic turn of events in Eastside Houston, an adult female was found with gunshot wounds to the neck and head inside a car at 1100 Allen Genoa. Police believe the incident is domestic-related.
The chilling sequence of events began earlier in the day when officers received a call at 3:45 PM in NW Houston. Family members claimed that the suspect had stated he killed his girlfriend and the mother of his children. By 4:30 PM, a welfare check was initiated by a federal probation officer after the family reached out, expressing concern that the suspect had killed his wife. HPD officers found no signs of foul play at the suspect’s apartment complex, but just 30 minutes later, they received a call that led them to 1100 Allen Genoa, where they found the victim inside her vehicle.
Upon reviewing surveillance footage, officers found that the suspect had arrived at the location around 9 AM. Shortly afterward, a silver vehicle driven by another female pulled up. The suspect fired several rounds into the black vehicle, fatally shooting the victim. He then entered the silver BMW and left the location with the female driver.
The suspect, known to be on federal probation out of Louisiana, is currently at large, and authorities are actively searching for him. The 16 and 14-year-old children of the victim are located and safe.
This situation is rapidly unfolding, and the investigation is ongoing. Authorities are urging the public to be cautious and report any information related to this case. More updates to follow as details emerge.
