$4 Million Bond Set in Homicide Case of Gregory Galomo

GALVESTON COUNTY, Texas, Aug. 29, 2023 – Sheriff Brian Hawthorne announced today that Rolando San Miguel has been arraigned on a murder charge related to the death of Gregory Galomo. Based on the violent nature of the crime and San Miguel’s previous criminal history, law enforcement and prosecutors consider him to be both a threat to society and a flight risk.

District Attorney Cheryl Lieck-Henry’s Office pushed for a high bond, an effort that was successful as 253rd District Judge Chap B. Cain, III set the bond at $4,000,000 for the murder charge.

The community is asked to keep Gregory Galomo’s family in their thoughts and prayers as they navigate this difficult time and as San Miguel awaits trial.
