Houston Police Seek Person of Interest in Fatal Stabbing on Airport Boulevard

August 29, 2023 – Houston, TX – Houston police are seeking the public’s help in locating Juan Jose Trillo-Calvo, a 50-year-old man wanted for questioning in connection with the fatal stabbing of Veronica Elizalde, also 50, on August 7 at 6815 Airport Boulevard. Trillo-Calvo is not currently charged in the case but is considered a person of interest.

Houston Police Department (HPD) Homicide Division Detectives reported that HPD patrol officers found Ms. Elizalde at the residence with multiple stab wounds. She was pronounced dead at the scene by Houston Fire Department paramedics.

Trillo-Calvo, who is the victim’s husband and has not been seen since the incident, is known to travel to San Antonio.
