Pct. 3 Environmental Crimes Unit Addresses Illegal Dumping Site, Receives Community Assistance for Cleanup

HOUSTON, Texas, AUGUST 29, 2023 – The Precinct 3 Environmental Crimes Unit (ECU) successfully addressed an illegal dumping site at 1001 E. Houston, following multiple reports from the community. The woman residing at the location was arrested by the Precinct 3 Night Shift for three outstanding felony warrants.

In a community effort to clean up the area, the Pouge Family donated their time and resources. The resulting transformation was described as astonishing, leaving the area barely recognizable compared to its prior state.

The ECU expressed its gratitude to the Night Shift officers, the Pouge Family, and the unit’s own personnel for their collective efforts in creating a cleaner, safer community.
