Texas A&M Forest Service Responds to Neches River Fire in Tyler County

TYLER COUNTY, Texas, Aug. 29, 2023 – The Texas A&M Forest Service has been called to assist in containing the Neches River Fire in Tyler County. According to officials, the fire has spread to an estimated 250 acres and is currently 0% contained. The fire is located southwest of the Shearwood Creek Fire, another ongoing wildfire incident.
