Loose Pit Bull Attacks Two Men, Prompting Lifeflight and Law Enforcement Response

HARRIS COUNTY, Texas, Aug. 30, 2023 – Harris County Sheriff’s Office (HCSO) deputies responded to an incident in the 1100 block of N Battlebell today involving a loose pit bull that attacked two adult males. Lifeflight has been dispatched to provide medical evacuation for one of the victims who suffered severe injuries.

Upon arrival at the scene, a sergeant with the HCSO shot the aggressive dog in an attempt to neutralize the threat. Preliminary reports do not indicate the current condition of the dog or the second victim.
