Houston Police Officer Charged with Indecency Resigns from Force
(HOUSTON, TX, Aug. 31, 2023) – A Houston Police officer, William McCoy, 25, who was relieved of duty by Police Chief Troy Finner on Monday, Aug. 28, has resigned today. McCoy has been charged with indecency with a child and indecent exposure. These charges come after a criminal investigation led by the Humble Police Department.
McCoy was a part of the North Belt Patrol Division and had been with the Houston Police Department since March 2021.
The criminal cases against McCoy are currently being processed in the Harris County court system.
