CHESTER COUNTY, Pa., Sept. 6, 2023 – Authorities have released new footage from Chester County Prison revealing how convicted murderer Danelo Cavalcante managed to escape. The video shows Cavalcante skillfully climbing up a wall while remaining parallel to the ground, eventually exiting through a doorway.

The search for Cavalcante is complicated by the dense woods, thick underbrush, and hot weather conditions in Chester County. Recent images from a trail camera show the suspect carrying a backpack and wearing a hooded sweatshirt, suggesting he may have obtained supplies while on the run. The manhunt has now entered its seventh day.
