SUNOL, CALIFORNIA – September 13, 2023 – An overturned big rig, leaking an unknown fluid, has prompted a hazardous materials response in the remote area of Sunol. The Alameda County Fire Department swiftly responded to the incident, which occurred at approximately 12:49 p.m. in the vicinity of Calaveras Road and Geary Road, situated on the western fringes of Sunol Regional Wilderness.
