Shooting and Collision Involving Robbery Suspect at Dollar General Store

HOUSTON, TX (Dec. 20, 2023) – At a Dollar General store located at 15045 Ella Blvd, a male suspect allegedly committed a robbery. An employee discharged a weapon at the suspect, who then fled in a vehicle. Shortly after, the suspect collided with a METRO Houston bus. The suspect was critically injured and transported to a hospital. Harris County Sheriff’s Office deputies are investigating the incident, with Sheriff Ed Gonzalez personally attending the scene.
