What exactly is slander?

As we continue to call out shady drivers, there are some drivers claiming we are slandering their good name:


We totally get why drivers are clearly upset about this page calling drivers out, however, we only post what someone posted. We do not alter photos to make drivers look bad and we have a obligation as journalists to be truthful. We understand, one false article can throw all of our credibility out the window.

We blurred out these drivers names because they are simply making an argument. However, the racist and shady drivers we have called deserve to be blasted online. There is no room for a questionable driver who is driving riders around. Those drivers are dangerous and are the same ones we see in viral videos, on the 5 o clock news making all of us look bad. Posting what these drivers commented on social media is no different from TMZ, Heavy.com, etc.

At the end of the day, we do not want to call out drivers on this page. Rodeo is right around the corner, and we need to get to work on ensuring every driver knows how to maximize their profits at the Rodeo. However, we can not sit idly by while drivers act shady, don’t follow procedures, make racist remarks, etc.

tl;dr? IF YOU DO NOT WANT TO BE POSTED ON HERE, DO NOT MAKE RACIST REMARKS OR DO ANYTHING SHADY. It is seriously as simple as that.
