Anthony McClain 32, and a father of three was killed by police in Pasadena

A father of three who was fatally shot by Pasadena police during a traffic stop over the weekend.

Pasadena, CA – According to the police (for what that is worth) “Officers stopped a vehicle near Raymond Avenue and Grandview Street. McClain, who was a passenger in the vehicle, rYEsan off after preventing officers from searching him and removed a firearm from his waistband area.”

“Both officers noticed the man had a gun, and at least one officer fired, wounding McClain, who collapsed, according to police. A semiautomatic handgun was recovered from the scene.”

There are a few questions that need to be answered:

If McClain was running away, why did the officer open fire on him? After all, the Officer already removed the gun from his waistband. Did the officer think he had more than one gun?

Of course, McClain does have a criminal record and that is going to be used against him, but that should not distract from the fact that he was unarmed when the police decided to kill him.
