Fact Check: Did an Apple Employee really tell a customer that he looks like he can’t afford an iPhone?
In a video posted by Edward So (@Edwardso) on TikTok, an Apple employee can be seen and heard saying “this is the most expensive line. You look like you have an Android, heard f the iphone X (iphone 10)? This has a lot of people asking why is this employee not fired?
As you can tell from the original video, this was a parody video titled “If Apple employees had no filter”. So the short answer is no, this employee really did not say that to an actual customer.
However, it does have us wondering if that is truly what Apple employees think of some customers. If Edward So really does work for Apple, we can probably assume his days are numbered at this point.
