Bomb Threat Investigation Concludes at Palo Alto Business, No Device Found

July 28, 2023 – Palo Alto – Police officers responded to a bomb threat at a business on the 400 block of Lytton Ave., following a call received by the local dispatch center around 11:42 a.m. today.

Authorities immediately arrived at the scene to investigate the situation. The officers, with the assistance of an explosives-detection canine, conducted a thorough sweep of the business premises. The objective of the sweep was to ensure the safety of the employees and nearby residents.

The search operation concluded with no device being located, according to the authorities. All businesses impacted by the incident and the roadways previously closed for investigation have been reopened. The Palo Alto police have not released any further details about the source of the threat at this time.
