Homeless Man Found Dead Under Bridge in Kingwood, Texas

August 1, 2023, Kingwood, Texas – Deputies from the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office responded to a call concerning a deceased individual found at the 25600 block of US Highway 59 in Kingwood, Texas, at about 8:30 am this morning. A Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT) crew working in the vicinity discovered the body under a bridge.

Detectives from the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office Homicide/Violent Crimes Unit, along with Crime Scene Investigators, arrived at the scene to conduct an investigation. The preliminary findings suggest that the deceased may be a homeless individual who succumbed to possible exposure. As of now, the identity of the male remains unconfirmed, and there are no signs of foul play or any immediate threat to the public.

The deceased will be transported to the Forensic Center for an autopsy to confirm the individual’s identity and to determine the precise cause of death. The authorities have not released further information at this time.
