United Airlines 767-300 Grounded After Hard Landing at Houston’s George Bush Airport

August 1, 2023, Houston, Texas – A United Airlines Boeing 767-300 has been grounded after a hard landing at George Bush Intercontinental Airport in Houston, Texas. The aircraft, bearing registration N641UA, was performing flight UA702 from Newark, New Jersey, when the incident occurred.

Despite the hard landing, the aircraft was able to taxi safely to the apron without any further incidents. The 767-300, however, sustained substantial damage in the process.
