Suspect Arrested for Assaulting a Constable Deputy in Harris County

HARRIS COUNTY, Texas – On August 14, 2023, deputies with Constable Mark Herman’s Office responded to a disturbance in the 2400 block of Chestnut Mills Road. Upon arriving, they were approached by one of the suspects involved, who began to actively resist deputies.

During a brief struggle, the suspect assaulted a Constable Deputy. The individual was then safely apprehended and identified as Demyjae Perry.

According to Constable Mark Herman, “Demyjae Perry was arrested and booked into the Harris County Jail, charged with Assault of a Police Officer. His bond and court information have not been set at this time.”
