Constable Deputies Searching for Theft Suspect Identified as Jamarcus Damontray Bloodworth

HARRIS COUNTY, Texas, July 18, 2023 – Deputies from Constable Jerry Garcia’s Patrol Division responded to an in-progress theft call in the 8200 block of Broadway Street, where they arrived on the scene to search for a male suspect who had fled the location on a bicycle.

The deputies quickly located the suspect and attempted to detain him, but he fled and was last seen entering an apartment complex.

The suspect, identified as Jamarcus Damontray Bloodworth, a 28-year-old black male, was known to the reporting party from previous theft cases. After contacting the Harris County District Attorney’s Office, charges of evading and felony theft were accepted against Bloodworth, due to previous convictions of theft. An arrest warrant has been filed.
