Fatal Crash at 1400 Webster Street Leads to Death of 54-Year-Old Man

HOUSTON, TX, August 20, 2023 – A fatal crash occurred at 1400 Webster Street around 1:35 a.m. on Sunday, leading to the death of a 54-year-old man, whose identity is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.

The driver of a white Dodge Ram 3500 pickup truck was traveling eastbound near the above address when he lost control of his speed and struck a curb. As a result, the driver was partially ejected from the pickup truck.

Houston Fire Department paramedics transported the injured man to Ben Taub General Hospital, where he was later pronounced deceased.

The crash involved no other persons or vehicles, and the investigation is ongoing.
