Update on Shearwood Creek Fire in Jasper County: 2,000 Acres Affected, 25% Contained

JASPER COUNTY, TX – Crews are working diligently to contain the Shearwood Creek Fire in Jasper County, which has now affected an estimated 2,000 acres and is 25% contained. Efforts to build containment lines continue where safe to do so.

Evacuations remain in place for residents along County Roads 032, 033, 034, 037, and 039.
