Boston FD Tech Rescue Team Responds to Report of Person in Neponset River

BOSTON, MASS., August 28, 2023 – At approximately 7:30 a.m a Boston Fire Department Tech Rescue Response team was dispatched to the Neponset River in Hyde Park following reports of a suspected person in the water. The rescue team has deployed a multi-faceted approach to assist in the search for the individual.

In addition to traditional search methods, the team has employed boats, drones, and divers in an effort to thoroughly scour the area. The operation is currently ongoing as emergency responders continue to search for the individual.
