Four Individuals, Including Two Toddlers, Found Stabbed to Death in Upper West Side Apartment

August 28, 2023 – New York, NY – A tragic discovery was made Monday afternoon in an Upper West Side apartment when four individuals, including two toddlers, were found stabbed to death. Authorities have described the case as an apparent murder-suicide.

The gruesome scene unfolded in an apartment on West 86th Street, between Riverside Drive and West End Avenue, after FDNY personnel forcefully entered the residence around 3 p.m. This entry was prompted by a request for a wellness check on the home’s occupants.

Among the deceased are a 1-year-old boy and a 3-year-old girl, in addition to a 41-year-old man and a 40-year-old woman. Three knives were found at the scene, as reported by WNBC.

The relationships between the man, woman, and children are currently unclear. Authorities are continuing their investigation into this devastating incident.
