Houston Police Investigate Fatal Stabbing at 1000 Pierce Street

HOUSTON, TEXAS, August 26, 2023 – Houston police are investigating the fatal stabbing of a male whose body was discovered at 1000 Pierce Street around noon on Saturday, August 26. The identity of the victim is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.

According to HPD Homicide Division Detectives, patrol officers found the male at the intersection of Pierce Street and Main Street, exhibiting multiple stab wounds. The Houston Fire Department paramedics were called to the scene and transported the victim to Memorial Hermann-Texas Medical Center in critical condition, where he was later pronounced dead.

A witness reported that the victim stumbled into the middle of the intersection and collapsed. Attempts by the witness to communicate with the male were unsuccessful, as he was unresponsive at the time.
