Female Solicitor with Seventy-Two Open Misdemeanor Warrants Arrested

HOUSTON, TEXAS, AUGUST 24, 2023 – Deputies from Constable Mark Herman’s Office responded to a call concerning a female solicitor on the roadway in the 100 block of FM 1960. Upon arrival, deputies located and identified the woman as Sherry Smith.

Further investigation confirmed that Smith had a total of 72 open misdemeanor warrants. Sherry Smith has since been arrested and booked into the Harris County Jail for the open warrants. As of the time of this report, her bond and court information have yet to be set.
