Shooting Near James Madison High School Prompts Police Investigation

HOUSTON, TEXAS, AUGUST 30, 2023 – Houston Police Department (HPD) commanders and the Public Information Officer (PIO) are en route to a shooting incident that occurred outside a convenience store in the 4000 block of West Orem Drive, near James Madison High School. The incident took place at approximately 4:40 p.m. today.
