Man Found Deceased in Field Near Liberty Rd. in Houston, Homicide Detectives Investigating

(HOUSTON, TX, Aug. 31, 2023) – Houston Homicide detectives are currently on the scene where a man was found deceased in a field. The field is located in the 7600 block of Liberty Rd., near Wayside Dr., an area commonly referred to as Tin Pan Alley by residents of the 5th ward. The discovery was made at approximately 7:55 a.m.

Initial reports indicate that the body is in an advanced state of decomposition. There is no additional information available at this time. The investigation is ongoing.
