CONROE, Texas, Sept. 1, 2023 — A significant brushfire has erupted at the intersection of 1488 and 242 in Conroe. The Woodlands Fire Department, Magnolia Fire Department, and the Texas A&M Forest Fire Division are currently on the scene to combat the fire. Authorities are advising the public to avoid the area.
