(GUADALUPE COUNTY, TEXAS, September 1, 2023) – The Sweet Home Fire in Guadalupe County is currently estimated at 200 acres and is 40% contained, according to recent updates. Dozer crews worked throughout the night to construct containment lines, making their way through thick brush. Engine crews have been patrolling the area, addressing hotspots and areas of heat near the perimeter of the fire.
