Armed Male Barricaded in Home on Rainmont Ln, Community Advised to Avoid Area

HOUSTON, TX, September 5, 2023 – Law enforcement agencies are currently responding to an incident involving an armed male who has barricaded himself inside a residence at the 3100 block of Rainmont Ln, near Fry Road. The HCSO SWAT team and patrol deputies are on the scene. Initial reports indicate the male broke into the home and is now barricaded inside.

Authorities believe the male is contained and poses no immediate threat to the community at large. No other occupants are reported to be inside the residence. Residents and community members are strongly advised to avoid the area while the situation is being handled.
