High Rise Structure Fire Breaks Out at Sabine on 5th Condominium Complex; One Person Evaluated

AUSTIN, TX, Sept. 7, 2023 – A high-rise structure fire has been reported at the Sabine on 5th Condominium Complex located at 507 Sabine Street. The incident occurred today at approximately 10:54 a.m.

Austin-Travis County Emergency Medical Services (ATCEMS) promptly dispatched multiple resources to the scene in a bid to control the blaze and support fire operations. Currently, ATCEMS medics are evaluating one adult individual who has suffered from smoke inhalation. As of the last update, there have been no other patients reported.

Authorities are diligently working to contain the situation and ensure the safety of the inhabitants of the complex. The extent of the damage is not known at this time.
