Teenager Pronounced Dead at Shooting Scene on Deer Timbers Trail; Investigators on Scene

HOUSTON, Texas, September 10, 2023 – Harris County Sheriff’s Office (HCSO) Crime Scene Investigators and Homicide Investigators are currently responding to a shooting incident at the 5300 block of Deer Timbers Trail. The initial dispatch was handled by Precinct 4 deputies who were the first to respond to the call.

Upon their arrival, they discovered a male, believed to be a teenager, with gunshot wounds. The individual was located in a wooded area near the aforementioned address. Tragically, he was pronounced dead at the scene.

The circumstances surrounding the shooting remain unclear at this early stage of the investigation. Authorities are working diligently to collect evidence and interview potential witnesses to piece together the events leading up to this fatal shooting.
