Silver Alert Issued for Missing Elderly Woman Last Seen in Stamford, Texas

STAMFORD, Texas, Oct. 4, 2023 – The Texas Department of Public Safety has issued a Silver Alert for Maria Avila, a 68-year-old Hispanic woman last seen at 7:00 a.m. on Oct. 4, 2023, on N. Swenson St in Stamford, Texas. Avila has brown eyes and black hair, weighs 120 pounds, and is 5’0″ tall.

She is believed to be driving a red 1998 Ford Mustang with Texas license plate number CHR6915. Authorities are urging anyone with information to contact the Seymour Police Department at (940) 899-3333.
