Suspect Charged, Wanted in Fatal Shooting at 7250 Avenue C

HOUSTON, TX – Charges have been filed against Anthony Campos Galvan Jr., 29, in connection with the fatal shooting of a man at 7250 Avenue C around 9 p.m. on June 18. Galvan is charged with murder in the 263rd State District Court.

The victim, identified as Nestor Saldana, 30, was found by HPD patrol officers in the parking lot of an apartment complex with a gunshot wound. Houston Fire Department paramedics responded to the scene and pronounced Saldana deceased.

A preliminary investigation indicated that an argument in the pool area of the complex led to the shooting. Further inquiries identified Galvan as the suspect in the case, and he was charged on July 12. He is currently not in custody.
