PINK-PANTED BANDIT WANTED BY PCT. 5 CONSTABLE’S OFFICE

WEST HOUSTON, TX, August 16, 2023 – Constable Ted Heap is seeking the public’s assistance in identifying a suspect known as the “Pink-Panted Bandit.” The suspect is wanted for stealing hundreds of dollars worth of merchandise from a retailer in the 2700 block of Eldridge Parkway in West Houston.

Security cameras recorded multiple videos of the suspect as he made his way around the store, stuffing electronics and other high-value goods into a bag in his shopping cart. In a 30-minute shoplifting spree, nearly $1,000 in merchandise was stolen.

The suspect is described as a tall, heavyset black male with a beard and mustache. At the time of the theft, he was wearing a white long-sleeve shirt, pink sweatpants, brightly colored tennis shoes, and a gold chain.
