SUSPECT ARRESTED FOR SECOND DRIVING WHILE INTOXICATED CHARGE

HARRIS COUNTY, TX, August 14, 2023 – A deputy with Constable Mark Herman’s office conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle in the 200 block of the N Sam Houston Pkwy East, resulting in the arrest of a suspect for her second Driving While Intoxicated (DWI) charge.

The driver, identified as Stephanie Ray, exhibited multiple signs of intoxication during the stop. Following a series of Standardized Field Sobriety Tests, the deputy determined that Ray was indeed intoxicated.

Further investigation revealed that Ray had a previous conviction for DWI. Consequently, she was arrested and booked into the Harris County Jail.

“Stephanie Ray was arrested and charged with Driving While Intoxicated. Her bond was set at $10,000.00 out of County Court 2,” stated Constable Mark Herman, underlining the commitment of his office to enforce traffic laws and ensure the safety of the community.
